How does Myron determine my tier?
When you connect your brokerage or add positions manually, Myron calculates your total portfolio cost basis — cost-per-share × shares, summed across all your positions. Your tier is set automatically based on that number.
What is cost basis?
Cost basis is the total amount you paid for your shares — cost-per-share multiplied by the number of shares held, summed across your tracked positions. It reflects the size of your equity portfolio, not its current market value.
What happens if my portfolio grows past my tier?
Your existing recommendations stay visible. When you add a new position that would push your cost basis above your tier's limit, Myron will show you the blurred results and prompt you to upgrade before saving the position.
Can I downgrade?
Yes, if your portfolio cost basis has dropped below the lower tier's limit. Myron will show a downgrade option on your subscription page when you're eligible.
Are all features included?
Yes. Brokerage connection, covered call screening, roll recommendations, backtesting, performance tracking, and SMS notifications are all available on every pricing tier including Starter.
